Licensing¶
The licence granted depends on the software.
Tools, such as FiQuS, SIGMA and PySigma are licensed under the GNU General Public License v3.0.
Tools, such as CERNGetDP is licensed under the GNU General Public License v2.0.
See the LICENSE files in each tool repository for details.
For all other STEAM tools the following applies.
CERN provides a licence for the STEAM Framework software to interested individuals or organisations.
Licence is provided without fee to Universities, R&D laboratories, public/non-profit institutions and private individuals.
It may also be possible for commercial organisations to obtain a STEAM Framework licence.
